TJ and Mojo

Another Mojo Monday entry....I had started kind of haphazardly on this card with half an idea, I knew I wanted a bunny and an egg with the number 4 on it.  I found this one in my collection ( Hook's Lines & Inkers) and cut out the Egg and scalloped background on my Cricut (Easter 2010), Colored the bunny with my Copics and was just sitting there looking at them when I decided a little inspiration from the WWW would be a good idea.  My goto place is the Mojo Monday site.  The sketch gave me the idea to maybe put some grass behind and to make it square.  Although the card does exactly follow the sketch, it's where I got my "Mojo" from so I am posting it.

The Yellow Gingham Paper is from Recollections, the Blue dotted swiss is from K & Co.  The green is just some scraps left over from St. Patty's Day cards, same with the purple and pink (Not from St Patty's but handy in the scrap pile!)  I got the grass on the card and positions the big egg and the bunny but something was missing.  I decided to put a few eggs in the grass.  This card is for my Grandson TJ, who turns 4 the day before Easter and we are having his party on Easter and having an Easter Egg hunt as part of the celebrations - hence the Easter theme.  After stamping them out on scraps (Studio G) I really liked the way they got smaller and added some depth to the card.  Got it all assembled and decided I needed something in the corner so I added the fluttering butterfly ( Inkadinkado) and decided I liked the way it turned out.  I hope he likes it but in reality he probably won't even look at it!  Maybe Mom will save it and he can look at it when he gets older.

I have also been busy with a little bit of sewing, here is my granddaughter in her little dress I made for her.  Couldn't get a good picture, she won't stay still long enough to get a good one!

Have a great Easter!
